New Project Targets-in sketchbook Set yourself TWO targets. You can create your own! ONE from the BLUE box and ONE from the RED box: BLUE box are Art Targets. RED box are organisation targets. 1)I want to improve the accuracy of my drawing. 2)I want to use more tone in my drawing. 3)I want to improve my colour blending by blending more colours. 4)I want to keep my colour smooth and inside the outline. 1)I will make sure I hand in my home learning on time. 2)I will not rush my home learning or class work tasks and take more care. 3)I need to time manage my work more carefully. 4)I need to focus on learning my Art key words.

Learning Objective: ALL will understand the project outcome and that there are different types of shoes. MOST will know the accessories used in shoes. SOME will understand why countries have different styles in shoe design.

Project: Shoes Around the World How long: 14 double lessons Design Brief: Design and make a shoe out of your own felt that is inspired by a culture of your choice. Copy down the design brief from the pink box. In the project you will: 1)Draw shoes in pencil and oil pastels. 2)Explore different cultural styles. 3)Explore artists who use pattern. 4)Make your own felt. 5)Learn new skills: felt making, pattern cutting, embroidery. 6)Design and make your own shoe.
