 There are 6 aspects of fitness: –Speed –Strength –Flexibility –Power –Cardio Respiratory Endurance –Local Muscular Endurance

Aspects of Fitness Cont’d  SPEED –The ability to move the body or part of the body over a distance in a short period of time. –EXAMPLES (from athletics):  requiring whole body speed; Sprinting  requiring part body speed; Javelin.  STRENGTH –The maximum force a muscle or group of muscles can produce in 1 go! –EXAMPLES (from athletics):  Shot putt  Javelin
