What is a magnet? A magnet is an object that attracts certain materials, usually objects that are made of iron or steel.
Magnets Magnet has two ends called magnetic poles: a north pole and a south pole. A magnet’s pull is the strongest at the poles
Magnet Like magnetic poles repel and the unlike magnetic poles attract.
Facts No matter how many times you cut a magnet, each piece will be a magnet with a pole at each end.
Magnetic field Space all around a magnet where the force of the magnet can act. Can you see the magnetic field? NO
Magnetic Field The field lines come out of the north pole and go into the south. Field lines are more concentrated at the poles. Why?
Magnetic Field Magnetic Field line between the two attracting magnets.
Magnetic Field Magnetic Field between the two repelling magnet.
Find Difference between the Two Magnetic field in the repelling magnet, do not go from one magnet to another, and they do not cross.
Electromagnet A magnet made when an electric current flows through a wire.
Electromagnet A current flowing through a wire creates a magnetic field. How can you make an electromagnet?
