3 Key Customer Themes : There Is Nothing Better Than Christmas: Remains the main theme with hanging signs throughout store and security shrouds on entrance. The seasonal aisle features 10 bays of Christmas related products including confectionery, wrapping and gifts. Clubcard Boost: Turn £5 into £10. Theme is supported with standees at entrance and aisle fins throughout store. Tesco Price Promise: Promoted with overhead signs at checkouts. Gift Cards: Promoted with hanging signs at checkouts. NEW 50% Off Clothing: Supported with header boards. General Feel: The store was tidy and well stocked. There was a festive feel with a large Christmas tree at entrance and smaller trees on all checkouts. General Feel: There were a few gaps on the shelves but there were plenty of staff on the shop floor re-stocking and tidying. TU Clothing Sales: Theme returns with ½ price clothing advertised with A boards outside. General Feel: The store felt very festive with impactful POS throughout. There were plenty of helpful staff on hand to help with queries. Christmas: 12 bays in the seasonal aisle dedicated to Christmas related items. Snow ploughs also feature on entrance to store. Price Lock : Large overhead signs continue to support the theme. Big Rollback: Theme continues with various POS throughout store including aisle fins. General Feel: The store was generally tidy with a few gaps on shelf. Staff were busy re-filling shelves and helping with customer queries. Saver Stamps : Theme supported with an FSDU featuring cook books. General Feel: There was quite a bit of Christmas POS throughout store, however it didn’t feel very festive. The store was very untidy with empty shelves, large queues at checkouts and additional displays blocking customer flow. General Feel: There were lots of low overhead signs to highlight various offers which gave a slightly cluttered feel to the store. The staff were very helpful and busy stocking shelves.
