2 Key Customer Themes : NEW Finest Range: A re-launch of the Finest range is promoted on entry of the store with shrouds on the security gates and a front of store display. High signs, barkers and bus stops continue the promotion throughout the store. NEW Kids Mega Sale: 10 bays are dedicated to toys and the sale is supported with hanging signs, bus stops and barkers. NEW The New Price Promise : Large, bold signs concentrated in the central aisle advertise this promotion. NEW Fruit & Veg Promotion: Bunting throughout the Fruit & Veg department draws attention to the various offers available. Halloween : 18 bays are dedicated to themed confectionery, accessories and children’s costumes, supported by overhead signs, bus stops, barkers, balloons and bunting. Alessi Crockery Collect Stickers And Dine In Style: Stickers towards a 70% Off voucher are available for every £20 spent in store. Alessi Crockery is displayed on a gondola end. General Feel: The store was untidy in places and very busy with themed displays. Plenty of staff were available to assist customers. 3 Key Customer Themes : Halloween: 21 bays dedicated to themed accessories and confectionery with overhead signs, bus stops, barkers and floor stickers. A Halloween costume display is sited at the front of the store and a witch was handing out free samples of popcorn. Additional floor stacks and shippers were sited around the store. NEW George Clothing Sale: A ½ price clothing sale is situated at the front of the store. Christmas: 9 bays of Christmas confectionery are promoted with overhead signs, bus stops and barkers. Saving You Money Everyday: This is the main logo and message throughout the store. Price Lock: The ‘Where Prices Go Down And Stay Down’ message is advertised with bunting in the central aisle. General Feel: The store had large front of store displays and floor space was taken up with shippers and floor stacks. Plenty of staff were available. Christmas: 9 bays of themed confectionery and accessories are supported by high signs and bus stops. Hot Deals: The ‘Get Them While They’re Hot’ promotion is visible throughout the store and concentrated in the main aisle where the main offers are located. General Feel: The store was busy and had additional table displays, floors stacks and shippers. The shelves were tidy and well stocked and plenty of staff were on hand to assist. Halloween: 5 bays are dedicated to themed confectionery and accessories and highlighted with overhead signs, bus stops and barkers. Additional displays are sited at the entrance, tills and gondola ends. Brand Price Match: Green barkers, bus stops and large hanging signs state that Tesco’s prices are matched on branded groceries, excluding promotions. General Feel: A clean and well laid out store. Shelves were neat and well stocked and plenty of staff were available. Halloween: 12 bays of themed confectionery, costumes and accessories with high signs, bunting, standees, bus stops and barkers. Christmas: The seasonal aisle has 18 bays of themed confectionery and 14 bays of Christmas gift sets, promoted with overhead signs and bus stops. Sainsbury’s Brand Match: Signs throughout the store and car park advertise the brand match with the messsage, ‘The Deals You Get At Tesco And Asda Without Going To Tesco And Asda.’ General Feel: A clean and tidy store with well stocked shelves and a spacious feel on entry. All checkouts carried advertising for Sainsbury’s finance and mobile phone offers. Plenty of staff were available to assist customers.
