2 Key Customer Themes : Household Heroes : The seasonal aisle has 8 bays dedicated to cleaning products. Highlighted by an overhead sign, shelf barkers and bus stops. ½ Price & £1 Offers: There are lots of ½ price offers on aisle ends supported by end of aisle signs. Tesco Price Promise: This theme continues to be promoted in store, supported by security shrouds, bus stops, overhead signs and bunting. 5p Off Per Litre Of Fuel When Spend £50 Or More In Store: Outside banners and A boards continue to support this promotion. General Feel: The store was tidy and well stocked. There were few tills open as the store was fairly quiet at the time of visit. 3 Key Customer Themes : The Big Roll Back: This theme is highlighted in store with overhead signs, bus stops, tax discs and an outside banner. 1000's Of Products £1: There are lots of aisle ends with £1 offers along with 4 bays at the front of the store dedicated to £1 items. Supported by an outside banner and aisle end signage. NEW Summer Fun: There are 4 bays at the front of the store with summer related items for kids. This theme is highlighted by header boards and shelf edge labels. NEW Britain's Lowest Priced Supermarket Award 16 years running: Various POS highlighting this award including lots of overhead signs at the front of the store. Price Lock: This theme continues and is supported by overhead sign, bus stops and an outside banner. General Feel: Small store which now has a small selection of home ware, ladies wear, menswear and children's clothing. 4 Key Customer Themes : Hot Deals: ‘Get them while they're hot’. Continuing to highlight the various offers throughout the store. Baby & Toddler Event: 5 bays in the seasonal aisle are dedicated to various offers on baby items. Supported by directional signs, hanging signs and bus stops. Cheers To Summer: Beers, wine and spirits aisle has lots of summer offers, which are highlighted by bunting, overhead signs, bus stops and an outside banner. Bring On The Great Outdoors: 10 bays in the seasonal aisle dedicated to BBQ and garden items, highlighted by shelf fins and hanging signs. NEW 100% Satisfied: ‘We will refund and replace any product prepared in store if you are not completely satisfied’. Slogan can be seen on overhead signs at till points. General Feel: The store was busy at time of visit, however not all tills were open and there was some queuing. The store was well stocked and tidy. 5 Key Customer Themes : Tesco Clubcard: This appears to still be the only theme in store although lots of various offers throughout the store. Seen advertised around the entrance and checkouts. General Feel: Store busy with customers and staff busy putting stock out and assisting customers. Shelves filled reasonably well, however store felt rather cluttered with stacks and shippers around the checkout areas. Summer / Garden: 7 bays in the seasonal aisle promoting seasonal out door and garden products, highlighted with high signs, bus stops and barkers. Offers: Seen on signs highlighting various offers throughout the store. NEW Don't Forget To Thank Your Teacher: A shipper of related cards at the front of store, plus checkout displays of chocolate boxes and flowers. General Feel: Clean store and well laid out. Shelves stacked well and neatly. Plenty of staff working on shop floor to assist the customers. General Feel: Spacious store, with extra displays around the checkouts and on entry. Shelves stocked well and plenty of staff seen busy filling shelves. Promoted by FSDU's, posters, overhead signs and bunting all around store. Barbecue And Picnic: Barbecue and picnic items seen on 12 bays in the seasonal aisle and two gondola ends. Highlighted with directing signs, bus stops and barkers. NEW Ramadan Mubarak: 7 bays of associated products highlighted with signs, bus stops, wobblers and barkers. Theme is followed through in to the world goods aisle. NEW Thanks Teacher: A card shipper is sited near the seasonal aisle, plus an additional display of chocolate boxes on the first bay on entry. Sainsbury's Little One's: Overhead signs, barkers and bus stops are seen promoting the various offers in the baby department. General Feel: Tidy, clear store. Spacious on entry with well stocked shelves. Overhead signage seen at the FOS promoting Sainsbury's Bank offers. Plenty of helpful staff available.
