5 New Nations in Africa News Report In your same groups, you will create and perform a News Report based on the information your group found: –How did the country gain independence, what problems did they face, how did they try to solve those problems? 1 person will be the anchor who will introduce the story and reporter –Name of the country, when they gained independence, who they gained independence from 1 person will be the reporter on the scene –Interview witnesses: ask how they gained independence, what problems did they face, how did they try to solve them? The rest of the group members will be witnesses –If there is a VIP, one group member must be the VIP Write your dialogue in your notebook Be creative, create props and practice your lines so that you will not have to read from your notebook
