Established two rival camps (Triple Alliance & Triple Entente) that created the possibility that any dispute between two rival powers could draw the entire continent into war
Assassination in Sarajevo
A Serbian nationalist murders Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife
Provided Austria-Hungary with an excuse to launch war on Serbia, leading to a confrontation between Austria and Russia

Anchor person: give a brief summary of the report & introduce the reporter
Reporter: interviews the witnesses-ask questions about the topic
Witnesses (VIPs, soldiers, civilians, etc…): answer questions using historical facts
Be creative
Create a name for your news organization

20 minutes to create your News Report
Each report should be 3-4 minutes
