Each group will create a news report for one of the following MAIN causes of WWI: Militarism Alliances Imperialism Nationalism Assassination Each member of the group must be one of the following: Anchor person: give a brief summary of the report & introduce the reporter Reporter: interviews the witnesses-ask questions about the topic Witnesses (VIPs, soldiers, civilians, etc…): answer questions using historical facts Be creative Create a name for your news organization Create props Use information from your Interactive Notebook and the Textbook 20 minutes to create your News Report Each report should be 3-4 minutes
