2. FAQ – Overview What is the ARI Driver insights app?
Easy way for drivers to manage vehicle maintenance and usage reporting from mobile device.
How long has it been available?
Released in June 2016 in the Apple App Store, and in Jan 2017 on Google Play.
Who can use it?
ARI drivers in the US and Canada can use it, in either English or French. It can be used by both Apple and Android devices.
How do drivers login?
With the same credentials as the web version: Last name, Client ID(lessee code), and Password – Vehicle # or Client Data 2 (driver ID).

3. Download App
In the Apple App Store or on Google Play, search by keywords “ari driver” to find the free app.
Tap ‘GET’ and then ‘INSTALL’ on the app to download.

4. Login
Drivers use the same credentials as the desktop version and can store them with a PIN for quick login.
Enter Driver’s Last Name, Client ID, and Password.
Tap ‘Remember Me’ to create a PIN.
Future logins only require 6-digit PIN, stored locally on your mobile device.

5. Driver Dashboard
Vehicle overview – notifications, operating expenses, fuel, maintenance, and odometers.
Swipe up to review vehicle information.
Only show Driver Scorecard to driver if menu is on the desktop version. Swipe up to view the information.

6. Fringe Mileage
The same rules apply for entering a monthly fringe report: last reported month first.
Choose assigned vehicle # from dropdown list, or select a rental.
Enter the total mileage for business and personal by tapping in the fields to open the # pad.
The Ending Odometer and Total Miles calculate.

8. Trip Log Use GPS mapping to track trip distance.
Tap green Start Trip button from the main page before driving.
When finished driving, tap red Stop button and then Save.
The Add Trip form is pre- filled with the date, miles and city, state fields.
Select the trip Purpose from the dropdown list.
Swipe up to the bottom of the form to save the trip via the Submit button.
Do not Close the trip until it has been saved or the info will be lost.

9. Odometer Entry
Drivers not on fringe program that used a vehicle number for their password will have the Odometer Entry menu, to enter a current odometer reading from the app.

App notifications are sent to the device for the following topics:

Vehicle Inspection Reports

11. Location Services enabled
eCoupons
The digital eCoupon services are aggregated based on those needed.
The current odometer reading determines the service interval, by using the one closest.
The last PM date and meter is included.

If you need assistance from ARI, you can live chat on ARI Driver insights via the website (driver.arifleet.com) or mobile app (Apple or Android).
Vehicle inquiries (non-maintenance), driver support, and technical assistance using the website or app are provided from ARI's analysts to help support your questions, requests or issues.
Tap on the operator icon on the top of the screen for live chat. You will be prompted to choose help with your vehicle (non-maintenance) or assistance using the app (technical support).
