4 Navigating to Google Play Store Payware Mobile is downloaded through the Google Play Store, formerly known as the Android Market. Find and select the Play Store App Play Store can also be found under Applications

5 Searching for Payware Mobile Once you launch the Play Store you will need to tap on the search icon Type Payware Mobile in the search bar Then press the search icon at the bottom right of the keyboard.

6 Downloading and Installing Tap on Payware Mobile in the search results Select Install Accept the Permissions

7 Launching Payware Mobile 7 Or from the phone’s Applications. You can open directly from the Google Play Store… And from the Payware icon on the home screen.

8 Registering Payware Mobile

9 First time setup The first time Payware Mobile is launched, you will be asked to create a security PIN Payware Mobile for Android will default to Test Drive mode as seen to the right. To begin registration, press the menu button.

10 First Launch Continued and Device Registration In Merchant Settings, select Live to enter Live Mode. Once in the menu, scroll down and choose Merchant Settings. Press OK at the prompt.

11 Entering Payware Mobile Credentials Enter in the Merchant Code / Client ID. Then press Register Device. Then enter the Username and Password then press Continue

12 Confirming Successful Registration 12 After pressing Continue, the screen below will briefly appear. Register Device button now shows Resync Device You will receive a Success Register or Registration Unsuccessful message Accepted Cards will be populated

15 Differences between Android and iOS The Android version of Payware Mobile does not display the screen below when first launching the App like the iOS version does. Instead, it defaults to the sale screen in test drive mode. The iOS version combines the Additional Info with Custom Fields into one screen; whereas, the Android version has two separate menu screens. iOSAndroid iOS

16 Differences between Android and iOS The Android version has an Exit PAYware option at the bottom of the menu, iOS does not. The iOS version has a menu for Secure Card Reader, Android version does not. iOS Android

17 Secure Audio Reader This is the Sale screen when the Secure Audio Reader is attached. Notice it only requires a transaction amount. It also has an option to Switch to Manual Entry. Below is what the App shows when a card has been swiped and the track data captured. The Submit button becomes available. This screen appears after switching to manual entry with the SAR attached, the option to switch back to swipe entry becomes available.

18 Secure Audio Reader continued Accessing the SAR Info from Android requires pressing the phone’s menu button while on the main sale screen of Payware Mobile Menu Button on phone. Secure Audio Reader Info Choosing SAR Info will display one of the two screens below.
