Governance Update Chair of Investor Forum elected – Jonathan Greenberg – In the process of scheduling second investor forum meeting Investor’s upcoming decisions, for example: – Bringing up the new file storage system – Scratch space – Snapshots Getting Nominations for the Executive Governance Committee
Golub Deployment Schedule Installation Timeline under development. Two known Taub outages – Converting over to Master Node ( 1 day) – Storage System ( 1-4 days) As Outage times become known, they will be shared with the User Community.
GPFS Improvements coming with Golub Moving from GPS 3.4 to GPS 3.5 Functionality includes: – High Performance Extended Attributes – Independent File sets File set Level Snapshots File set Level Quotas – File Cloning

User Survey Survey’s Objective: – assessment of how things are going for everyone – indications of what are the important capabilities and services offered – suggestions for improvements to the environment and the supporting services. Current User Survey is available until January 31, 2013 and takes about 10 minutes.
