History First Residential College Built in 1984 Currently there are 5 Residential Colleges Differs From a Dorm “Home Away From Home” Where Living and Learning Come Together Programming Goals Build Community Promote Academic Success Develop Interpersonal Skills

Build community Floor programming Building programming Maintain discipline on the floor RA Tower Duty one night per week and one weekend per month Desk Duty 4 hours per week Administrative work as assigned

7 Contract Terms 9-month contract School Breaks
Begin Date is August 10 End Date is May 19 School Breaks Must work either Thanksgiving or Spring Break Winter holiday: December 19 – January 8 Must attend all training sessions Must participate in RA Selection process for next year
