 Simile – to compare one to another using the words ‘like’ or ‘as’  Personification – to give human traits to objects that are not alive  Five senses – sight, sound, smell, taste and touch

In your new exercise books answer the following question with one paragraph: What makes the speaker in ‘Stealing’ so fascinating?

Remember to use this structure: Point = One of the things that makes the speaker so fascinating in ‘Stealing’ is… Evidence = Quotation Analysis = This makes him fascinating because… Language = The word/phrase is interesting/powerful because

 With your partner discuss your best memory or memories from primary school  How have you changed since coming to secondary?
