Engrade Turn-Ins ALLOW STUDENTS TO DIGITALLY TURN IN AN ASSIGNMENT

Turn-Ins Want your students to turn in files, images, video, formatted text, or links to other sites digitally? Create a Turn-In. Turn-In How-To Video

Steps to Create a Turn-In Click on a Class Click on Turn-Ins in the left sidebar Click the New Assignment Button Enter the Assignment Name, Points Possible, and Due Date. Then click More options

More Options Add a description Attach a file, copy to other classes, etc. Most Important…Check the box “Add the assignment to class Turn-Ins” Don’t forget to SAVE Choose Students if you only want to assign to certain students.

Settings for Turn-Ins Notice the 1 in the red circle indicating there is 1 turn-in assignment for this class.

Settings Open indicates students are able to turn in an assignmentClick Close to change the status to Closed.Click Edit to make changes to the assignment.

What to Students See Students click on Turn-Ins and see the Assignment. They click on the name to submit their assignment.

Student Submission Page Click the proper icon to turn in an assignment. Click Submit Turn-In Students can add Files Formatted text such as essay responses or links to other sites Or images or videos.

How Teachers See and Grade Turn-Ins You have an assignment ready to grade Click Turn-Ins Another indicator an assignment is ready to grade. Click the Assignment Name

After Assignment Name is Clicked David submitted his assignment. Click on View to see it. Notice Date and Time of Submission.

After View is Clicked Assign points and leave a grade comment. Students and parents see the comment. This comment should be in reference to the grade. Leave a discussion comment for students and parents to see. They have the ability to respond back.

Next Student Click arrows to move to next or previous student.

Enable Turn-Ins for an Existing Assignment Click on the Assignment name to which you want to enable turn-ins. Click on Assignments in the left side bar.

After the Assignment Name is Clicked Don’t forget to SAVE Check the box “Add this assignment to class Turn- Ins
