4 Adding an Assignment Enter the name of the assignment 1 Enter a description of the assignment 2 Tick if you would like the description displayed on the course page. 3 Enter the dates to allow submissions between 4 Click Save and return to course 5

5 Adding an Assignment Click Save and return to course 8 Maximum amount of files to allow in the assignment submission 3 The "Send for marking" button allows students to indicate to the teacher that they have finished working on an assignment. 6 Adding an Assignment Edit the title of the file Move the file to the right Move the file to another location on the course Edit the file Duplicate the file Delete the file Hide the file Control who can see / access the file The assignment will appear on the course page as shown. You can edit the assignment if required as shown below...

8 Grading Rubrics Give the assignment a name Enter a description of the assignment Tick to display the description on your Moodle course Change the dates you want the assignment to be available on your Moodle Chose whether learner can submit their assignments late or not Chose the type of grading scale Chose Rubric from the grading method Add the rubric to an assignment...

9 Grading Rubrics Chose the maximum file size of the assignment Allow deleting of the assignment file Chose the number of files allowed to upload Allow learner to leave notes with the assignment submission Hide the description of the assignment when the learner clicks to submit the file Email alerts to teachers of the Moodle course when a learner submits an assignment Enable the send for marking button so learners can indicate when they have submitted the final draft of the assignment Click to save and return to the course

22 Grading Rubrics Mark the submitted assignment file offline using your required method and then grade the assignment on Moodle. You can also submit feedback files if required. Scroll across to access the grade option Click the grade option to input the grade for the learner.

23 Grading Rubrics Revert the learner’s assignment submission back to draft if they need to resubmit changes Chose the grade for the learner to show if they have hit pass, merit or distinction criteria for assignment outcomes.

24 Grading Rubrics Provide feedback to the learner on their assignment Upload feedback file(s) for the learner Click here to save changes
