2 1/5/2016Office of Accountability2 Power Teacher Home Page 1)This is the screen you will see when you log on. 2)Notice that you are in assignment mode. You will have to click Final Grade Mode to begin to enter grades. 3)If you do not see all of your classes Change Classes option to 2010-2012

3 1/5/2016Office of Accountability3 Step 1 - Entering marking period grades 1)Click the reporting term drop down box and make sure you choose the appropriate marking period. 2)Then click the final grades mode. It will turn blue.

4 1/5/2016Office of Accountability4 Step 2 - Choosing report card section 1)In the classes pane, choose which section of the report card you are going to fill in first. 2)Under the 1 st administration column, right click an empty cell to get a menu. 3)Left click on Show Score inspector

5 1/5/2016Office of Accountability5 Step 3 - Moving to the Next Student 1)Using the score inspector’s grade drop down box, select your students formative assessment grade. 2)Then click on the student down arrow to move on to next student.

6 1/5/2016Office of Accountability6 Step 4 - Submitting final grades 1)Once you enter all your grades for this section, click save at the bottom right. 2)Then click on Report Card in progress. 3)This box will pop up. 4)Click the Final grades complete box. 5)Click ok on the Report Card Final Grades Completion Status window.

7 1/5/2016Office of Accountability7 Step 5 - Sending Grades to Chancery 1)The window will disappear and the Report Card Grade button will turn green with a checkmark. 2)This tells you that your grades for your selected assessment item is ready to be imported into Chancery.

8 1/5/2016Office of Accountability8 Repeat steps 2-5 for each assessment item You have to enter scores for each assessment area under classes

9 1/5/2016Office of Accountability9 Using Fill Score option 1)Select a new report card category in the classes pane. 2)To use the fill score option, right click an empty cell in the column you are grading. Example shows ESOL column highlighted. 3)Left click the fill score option. 4)Click one of the two options 5)Choose your grade and click OK

10 1/5/2016Office of Accountability10 Entering the Narrative Comment -AIS 1)Double click in empty cell for 1 st Quarter Goal 2)Then copy and paste or type your AIS goal in the Narrative Comment pop up window. 3)Do this for each student. You will see a blue letter C when you have entered the comment. 4)When you finish with all students click close.

11 1/5/2016Office of Accountability11 Narrative Continued 1)Double click on the 1 st quarter summary of progress column to add narrative for this section 2)Each marking period has two narrative spots for Math and ELA 3)You can go up and down between students by clicking on Arrows. 4)Don’t forget to Click on Report Card in Pro… and Check Final Grades Complete box.

12 1/5/2016Office of Accountability12 Overall Comment Repeat the steps that you did for AIS comments in the Overall Comment section. Yes, this does have a spell checker.

13 1/5/2016Office of Accountability13 Final Steps Final Steps - Double check all assessment categories have a Green Check mark indicating that Final Grades Are Complete. After the import process into Chancery, you are able to View/Print the RCSD Elementary Report Card for your Students in the Report Section of Chancery.
