Agenda Purpose – To provide information about WCPSS and SES process – To gather input from approved providers, serving Wake County

Agenda Introductions WCPSS SES Process – School System’s Role – Elementary Schools’ Role – Provider’s Role WCPSS Facilities Use Guidelines SES Provider Input Questions and Concerns

WCPSS SES Process School System’s Role – Provider Meeting – Notification of Parents – Plan and Organize Provider Fair – Parent Request for Service – Enrollment Periods (see timeline) – Assist Parents in Selection, if Requested

School System Provide District Paperwork – Provider Agreements – Parent-Provider Contracts – Facilities Use Agreement – Vendor Form Collect Documentation Provide payment to providers ($1,360 maximum per student) SES Evaluation

Elementary Schools Schools’ Role Designate a site coordinator Provide information about student achievement Establish a process for communication between teacher and provider Establish procedures for transition from school to SES

SES Providers Providers’ Role Designate a non-tutoring site coordinator if more than 24 students are enrolled Establish sign-in system for tutors Provide badges for tutors Provide nametags for students Discuss system for contacting parents with the school’s SES coordinator Conduct assessments

SES Providers Develop student learning plans with parents and teachers Provide monthly progress reports Arrange for frequent parent conferences provide notices for non-tutorial days
