3 Purpose of SES  Provide additional academic instruction to increase academic achievement of students in schools in the second year of improvement  High quality and research based  Tutoring, remediation or other supplemental enrichment

4 Eligibility  Students from low income families that attend Title 1 schools regardless of their ELA or math scores  Free or Reduced lunch eligible

5 Notification  At least annually that the student qualifies for services and that the school is in need of improvement  Indicate reasons for designation  By mail  Website
