5. Purpose/Focus
Review various methods for making more eligible students aware of supplemental educational services;
Help districts understand the purpose and functions of  these services to improve student achievement. 3

6. Expected Outcomes
Participants will become familiar with methods for improving SES participation rates.
Participants will have a better understanding of SES purposes and functions. 4

Early preparation period for upcoming school year
Review and revise SES program procedures
Develop and modify ongoing provider monitoring system
Begin data collection on existing eligible students
Prepare notification to parents

Survey parents and teachers of students who received services
Request provider self-evaluation of effectiveness
