Grade and ASL Environment reminder: Off-task? (whispering, talking, etc.)– is like missing Math problems: each check (each time I notice) is worth 10% off Peer checks Peer checks are better= only a warning (up to 2) Let’s earn 100% for trying!!! After 3 checks, it also becomes a discipline issue- action slip, referral Stay quiet and focus- you can do it!

Asl 3- Advanced ASL word order: Yes, basic order is TIME OBJECT SUBJECT VERB But, have you noticed several sentences from ASL signers may be in SVO order? If a sentence has a rhetorical question at the beginning, it may look like SVO (but note that eyebrows must be raised) Example: ________rh_ ME WHAT-DO STORE GO (signer can even omit WHAT-DO) or even : GO STORE sometimes- but not often
