Introduce children’s stories- see examples. Handout (children’s stories). Time left: choose story, work on MMS test. ***If you want to begin your children story gloss, you may---but we will have new notes soon that will change and improve it, on “Expansion Techniques” in ASL- so I recommend you wait.

5 Written Doorbuster: copy these notes (if you did not copy them Friday) Tips on correctly Signing Items in a Room: Tips on correctly Signing Items in a Room: door perspective 1.To sign a room, sign from the door perspective transitions 2.Be sure you have transitions from item to item  Use a building feature (corner, door) or the most recent item (table, couch); then show the new item going from the last one (“place” the new item in space) shape, size, and location 3.Classifier requirement (3)- these help you show shape, size, and location in the room Label at least 3 items with a (CL) for your test, to show you plan to sign them with a classifier (examples on p.3 of SN Level 2 book) ***Done?
