Panic Disorder What is life like with Panic Disorder?

What is it? Panic attacks are characterized by sudden rush of fear usually accompanied by a pounding heart shortness of breath a choking or suffocating sensation or other physical symptoms They often occur in response to a stressful situation.

What are the symptoms of it? Chest pain difficulty breathing racing heart Sweating hot or cold flashes Trembling Nausea numbness

What treatment is available? Medication Therapy

What causes it? It could be caused by genetics, defects in the nervous system, hypersensitivity of the nervous system 2- 5 percent of Americans suffer from panic disorder
