2 Definition: Anxiety that is related to a specific situation or object. Phobia

3 Physical Symptoms Physical Symptoms: Difficulty Breathing Racing or Pounding Heart Chest Pain or Tightness Trembling or Shaking Feeling Dizzy or Lightheaded A Churning Stomach Hot or Cold Flashes Sweating

5 Personality Disorders Definition: display rigid patterns of behavior that make it difficult for them to get along with others

6 Symptoms of personality disorders Unstable fragile self-image Unstable and intense relationships Up and down moods, often as a reaction to interpersonal stress Suicidal behavior or threats to self-injury Too sensitive to criticism or rejection Disregard for others needs or feelings Lack of remorse for behavior

7 Treatments for personality disorders Depending on your needs and type of personality disorder, treatment may include: Psychotherapy- During psychotherapy, you learn about your condition and talk about your mood, feelings, thoughts and behaviors with a mental health provider. Medications-Antidepressants, mood stabilizers, antipsychotic medications, anti-anxiety medications. Hospitalization- This is generally recommended only when you aren't able to care for yourself properly or when you're in immediate danger of harming yourself or someone else.

9 Panic Attack Definition: feeling of intense fear and strong desire

10 Symptoms ●shortness of breath or hyperventilation ●Choking feeling ●Sweating ●Nausea or upset stomach ●Feeling dizzy, light-headed, or faint Treatment: Medications Antidepressants which can be prescribed by a doctor or therapist Benzodiazepines is a drug that is only proscribed by a doctor Therapy Cognitive Behavior Therapy
