OCD- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder What is life like with OCD? Difficult- a person may not be able to hold down a job or have a “normal” life because they spend so much time on their obsessions and compulsions

What is it? An anxiety disorder in which a person is preoccupied with thinking that something harmful may happen to themselves or that something might be harmful, dangerous, wrong, or dirty.

What are the symptoms of it? A person spending excessive amounts of time worrying and being anxious, where it disrupts their daily life

What treatment is available? Therapy, behavior therapy, medication

What are obsessions? Obsessions are frequent thoughts and worries over illness, injury, or cleanliness..

What are compulsions? Compulsions are behaviors, thoughts, or actions done to try and stop worried thoughts
