Meaning of Educational Technology What is educational technology? Educational technology is the development, application and evaluation of systems, techniques and aids to improve the process of human learning. (cited by Lucido, 1997) It is the theory and practice of design, development, utilization, management and evaluation of processes and resources for learning. (Association of Educational Communication and Technology)

Educational Technology discloses in common that it encompasses the use of instructional media as part of the complex process of teaching and learning and stresses its ultimate goal of improving any teaching-learning situation. It consists of the designs and environments that engage learners and reliable technique or method for engaging learning such as cognitive learning strategies and critical thinking skills. (David H.
