Adobe Connect Group Collaboration

Adobe Connect Adobe Connect is a web conferencing software that allows users to conduct group collaborations How FRNSC 200 will use this platform: Live lectures – main meeting room Group Discussions – main meeting room Team meetings – individual team meeting rooms are available for team members to meet outside of designated discussion times NOTE: adjusting the view panels in any of the meeting rooms changes the view for everyone in the room – Please DO NOT fiddle with the panels!

Adobe Connect (2) REQUIRED – a working headset with microphone Run “Audio Setup Wizard” to test your microphone and speakers before each meeting Meetings  Audio Setup Wizard Please refrain from using the built in microphone and speakers, as they tend to cause feedback interference Student introductions and microphone test Remember to mute your microphone when you are not speaking!

Adobe Connect (4) Troubleshooting Audio issues Ensure your microphone and speakers are both turned on and at an appropriate volume Run the “Audio Setup Wizard” You may have elected to deny the Flash Player access to your computer’s microphone. To verify this, right click in the meeting window and choose Settings to view your Flash Player settings. In the dialog box, choose Allow. Verify that the correct microphone is being recognized by the Flash Player. To do this, access the Flash Player settings dialog by right clicking in the meeting window, and select the Microphone Tab. Check that your microphone is selected in the dropdown and that the Record Volume is at an appropriate level. Try logging out completely (including closing your web browser) and then log back in Test Connectivity Adobe Connect Support Center
