Quiz Review Campus and Classroom Procedures

Acceptable Use Policy Devices can be used for personal use before and after school. Devices can be used for learning purposes during school. Anyone abusing the Acceptable Use Policy is at risk for disciplinary action.

Student Expectations Be respectful. Be on time and on task. Bring your supplies. Keep your hands, feet, and belongings to yourself. Be ENCOURAGING

Grades Major Grades = 35% – Tests= 20% – Major Writing Project= 15% Quizzes = 25% – Quiz every Friday Daily Work= 40% – Homework – Journal – Classwork

Late Work Policy Every student must turn in an assignment on the day it is due. If no work is done, a paper with a heading and the title of the assignment should be turned in. If only a heading and title are turned in, the grade will be a 10. Any failed assignment may be re-done and turned in for full credit if turned in by the “second round” date.

Student ID Policy Students must wear their ID at all times. If an ID is lost, it must be replaced.

Dress Code Skirts and shorts must be no shorter than 4 inches above the knee. No Mohawks! Fauxhawks are O.K. No ripped Jeans Leggings are not pants! Hair must be a natural color (natural for someone)

Make-Up Work Policy If you are absent, you have the day(s) you were absent plus 1 day to make up work. Make-Up work is located in the “While You Were Out” folder.

Daily Jive Check EVERY DAY upon entering the classroom for instructions. Two per week will be written in your composition book. Two per week will be electronic.

Free Write Journal Can write anything you want. First two pages are for inspiration. If you don’t want me to read it, fold the page. Will stay in class.

Leaving Class Students may not leave class within the 1 st 15 minutes or the last 15 minutes of class. If you leave class, a teacher must sign your agenda.
