Personal Interest WEBSITES Elijah, Kyra, Jarae, Jacob, & Charlotte

Functions as a forum, store, social networking and an informational website. Helps people acquire the knowledge they need to live healthier and reach their goals. Purchasing of supplements and gear. Forum to ask questions and interact with people. Member Profiles to act as a sort of social networking.

Members Members can range from average people to IFBB pro bodybuilders. People looking to gain or lose weight. People looking to live a healthier lifestyle. Anybody interested.

Personal Interest? BB.com can serve as a Personal Interest website because it is based all around peoples interest in health, nutrition, exercise and being in shape. It serves as a personal interest website with other things like commerce and blogging integrated in.

Design:interest Art Community

Design: Interest Formal art community in which people share ideas about design, illustration, art portfolios, etc. People can network for jobs/commissions, or simply post galleries for critique or enjoyment. More of a professional website about design and creativity rather than one about fanart and memes.

Members Members become so by requesting an invite. Each person has a profile, portfolio, “inspiration”, news posts, and feeds page. The main part of the website has Community, Portfolios, Inspiration, News, Features, and Jobs.

We Are Change

 -We Are Change is an independent media organization comprised of individuals and groups working to expose corruption worldwide.  -Motto: “Educate. Motivate. Inspire.”  - It also wants to create a community of truth seekers and peacemaker who share a commitment to nonviolent action.

Members Members: This organization is made up of independent journalists, concerned citizens, activists, politicians, and anyone who wants to shape the direction our world is going in. Anyone can add to the organization with story’s and information. They are also able to share this with others. Runs off of donations from individuals, groups, and various chapters from all over the world

We Are Change We Are Change can be considered both formal and informal. There is no membership required to view everything on the site, but you have to have one to add something or comment. It contains personal information about many different people and groups.

Pinterest The site lets all types of people share ideas, art, recipes, and interests of all types on an online ‘pin board’. ‘Pins’ can be created and posted only by members, but can be read by anyone on the site. The site is informal because anyone can belong.

Members Getting a membership requires a valid address as well as your name. Anyone can join. Only members can post on the board.

Pinterst The site is moderated by facilitators. –The site tries to keep all ‘Pins’ appropriate for all viewers. The site is organizes pins in different ways: Recent posts Popular posts By Category
