State of the School Accountability Ratings Index 1 Student Achievement: Our Target was 60 We received a score of 44 (Did Not Meet Index) Index 2 Student Progress: Our Target was 30 We received a score of 31 (Met Index) Index 3 Closing Performance Gaps: Our Target was 28 We received a score of 24 (Did Not Meet Index) Index 4 Post-Secondary Readiness: Our Target was 12 We received a score of 12 (Met Index) Based on this information we did not meet our Accountability Ratings which has our school categorized as Improvement Required Year 4 (IR-4)

Daily Expectations School Day Begins at 7:35 AM Students are not allowed in the building before this time School Day Ends at 4:00 PM Students can not be checked out after 3:15 PM Car Riders are dismissed and picked up from the rear parking lot Walkers are dismissed through the front of the building

A Day at Woodson Students begin with Breakfast in the Classroom The instructional day begins at 8:00 AM Students in Grades 3-8 change classes daily All students participate in ancillary choices such as: Music, Art, Theater, PE, and MS Band

How Do We Move to The Next Level? Woodson K-8 Leadership Academy plans to make progress this year We will need commitment from parents, teachers, and students in order to meet this goal We are asking parents to partner with us by: Check your child’s book bag daily for homework, notes from teachers and the school, and to contact your child’s teacher regular for progress updates In an effort to have effective communication, we are asking you to update your contact information as it changes

Title I Woodson is a School-wide Title I school based on free/reduced lunch percentages. The school was awarded monies to support instructional programs such as: Tutorials Extended Day Professional Development for Teachers Parental Involvement
