Daily Attendance Students should be at school before 7:55 a.m.
Students are tardy at 7:55 a.m. Instruction begins at 8:05 a.m. Reminders to include: Make sure students keep a regular bedtime and establish a morning routine Ensure your children go to school every day unless they are truly sick

Daily Schedule Schedules to add: math, reading, science, social studies, lunch, and block (planning).

Conference Times We are also available to have conferences before and after school. Please feel free to send a note or call requesting a time.

Grading Information Progress Reports Report Cards
Every 3rd week of grading period Every 6th week of grading period Students will receive first progress report on Thursday, October 9th Report Cards At the end of every grading period Students will receive first report card on Thursday, October 23rd You can monitor student grades online by signing up through the district. Remind parents to sign the progress reports and report cards as acknowledgment of receipt.

Accelerated Reader Accelerated Reader is a program that promotes literacy and encourages students to read books they enjoy Make sure that you sign your child’s contract and return it to the teacher Encourage your child to read daily to earn points

Transportation Bus, Car Riders, Walker, Daycare
A note from home is needed for daily or permanent transportation changes There will be no changes in transportation after 2:30 p.m. If you are picking up your child, you must sign in the front office with proper I.D. Talking points: -Parents cannot change transportation over the phone

Dismissal Dismissal begins at 3:10 p.m.
3:10- PK, Daycare, Walker dismissal 3:12- Car rider dismissal 3:13- Bus dismissal All students should be picked up by 3:35 p.m. daily.

Family Center The Family Center is open Tuesday thru Friday
Classes offered: ESL Parenting Discussion Groups Homework Assistance Guest Speakers Spanish And much more!

School Supplies Please restock your child’s school supplies as needed
Make sure that the student returns all of their materials that were taken home. (i.e. homework, conduct folder, planner, book bag, etc.)
