Roll Out of Fibre Infrastructure – South West o Local Broadband Plans (LBP’s) led by Local Authorities o Covers South West (excluding Cornwall) o Targets the ‘White Areas’ (pre-dominantly rural) o Investment of circa £200m o Funded by BDUK / LA’s / Infrastructure Provider’s o Infrastructure Providers procured by LA’s from Aug 2012 o Phased Roll Out of Capital works – Dec 2012 to 2015 o Takes SFBB availability up to 90% of premises (remaining 10% funded by consumers / businesses / suppliers + ltd public funds)

SFBB Business Support Project Overview  Overall Aim to create sustainable growth through exploiting SFBB  £6m of ERDF Funding linked to the SFBB Infrastructure Works  Delivery Consortium led by PE + Business West/WSX Enterprise  Close partnership with LA’s who provide the Capital Match via LBP’s  Eligibility Criteria Apply  Phased delivery to match Capital Works: –Awareness Raising / Knowledge Hub from Jul 12 –Business Support from Oct 12 –Limited ‘Final Mile Capital Support ‘from Jan 12 (Dev & Som only)
