Homework will be given out on Monday and due back on Friday, unless we have off. There is a homework book that will go home and the children will be expected to complete it with a little help. If they need too much help let us know.

Kid Writing Kid Writing Kid Writing is when the kids write sentences to go with a picture. It focuses on letter formation and phonics in the context of writing. Kid Writing occurs twice a week for about 45 minutes. The key is to not tell the students how to write, but to help them sound out words until they feel confident writing independently. Please sign up if you would like to come into the classroom and help!

Centers Centers are used after the kids are done kid writing. We play school games on the computer. We practice writing our letters, numbers, and sentences. Here we write sight words.
