If you are viewing Flipster on an iPad or iPad mini, you can also download and install the free Flipster app from the iTunes store. The Flipster app allows you to download issues from the Flipster site and read them offline anytime.

Once you’ve found a magazine in Flipster on your device, and opened it in the mobile viewer, tap the Menu icon in the upper-left and then tap Open in App. If you have not yet installed the app on your device, you can tap the icon to get it.

When you tap Open in App, the Flipster app opens and the issue begins to download to your device. When the issue is finished downloading, it appears as NEW in the library. Tap the magazine cover to read it.

Swipe your finger left or right to flip through the pages of the magazine.

Tap Library to return to your library of magazines in the app. You can use the icons in the upper right- hand corner to view a digital table of contents with linked thumbnail images, or a list view of the table of contents with links to each article.

From the drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner you can view your downloaded magazines in the order they were downloaded, or a complete alphabetical list of all titles you have downloaded.

When you have finished reading an issue, tap the trash can icon to remove it from the app.
