1 Leadership & Management Learning Center

2 Welcome to EBSCO’s Leadership and Management Learning Center (LMLC) tutorial. LMLC is designed to sustain and support formal and informal learning programs and encourage contextual learning. In this tutorial, we will look at browsing competencies and carousels from the home page, as well as sharing your own comments and ratings on articles with other members of your organization.

3 When made available by your organization, Competencies appear on the Home screen and offer a simple point-and-click option for browsing information related to successful job performance. Depending on your organization’s account, you may see a list of pre-selected competencies or those determined by your organization. When you click on a competency in a list, you get a result list of all items related to the selected competency.

4 To browse a list of articles related to a specific competency, click a competency heading.
Note: If more competencies are available, you can click on + More to view them.

5 A result list is displayed
A result list is displayed. Simply click on a title to read an article, book, or other related content.

6 Carousels may also appear on the home screen and allow you to quickly browse the most recently added eBooks or Business Book Summaries. Your interface may have up to three carousels as determined by your organization's administrator.

7 To browse carousels, use the left and right arrows to navigate through the titles. Hold your pointer over a title to view more information about it. When you find an item you would like to read or download, such as an eBook, click on the cover image to view the Detailed Record.

8 If enabled by your organization, Leadership and Management Learning Center allows you to share your own comments and ratings on articles with other members of your organization, when signed into your personal My EBSCOhost folder.

9 To add comments and/or ratings to articles, click the Comments link for the item on which you would like to comment or rate. If no comments or ratings have yet been posted, the link will read “Add Comment/Rating” instead.

10 Available comments and ratings are displayed
Available comments and ratings are displayed. You are prompted to sign in to your My EBSCOhost folder to add your own comments and ratings. For more information about My EBSCOhost, including how to create your own personal folder account, see the My EBSCOhost Folders tutorial available on the EBSCO Support Site.

11 Click Add Comment/Rating and add your comment and/or rating in the fields provided. When you are finished, click Save.

12 Your comments and ratings are stored in your personal My EBSCOhost folder and can be viewed in the Comments and Ratings area.

13 At any time, click on the Help link to view the complete online Help system.
