1 How to install StudySync’s mobile App
You will need a CVS Laptop and your Mobile Device

2 For Teachers Only…Important!
Do not let your students choose a nickname because when sharing a Blast their response will not be anonymous which could cause behavioral issues. To turn off the nicknames, launch your StudySync and click on your profile. You’ll see the option and if student nickname is checked, uncheck it. This will make all the Blast anonymous again.

3 Advantages of StudySync’s Mobile App
Study Sync's Mobile App can be used both online and offline. You may only have internet access at school where your assignments are downloaded/synced to the app automatically every time you log in to the app. Once everything has been synced, you can then work offline in the app without needing internet access to complete your assignments. You have access to your Assignments tab while working offline, and to all assignment pieces, including videos, which downloaded at the timed they last synced. Advantages of StudySync’s Mobile App

4 Step #1 Log-in to a CVS desktop or laptop computer using your student number and password. Click the McGraw-Hill red icon on the left hand side In the upper right hand corner click on your name and using the pull down menu find profile. Note the access key near the bottom

5 Now…Using Your Mobile Device
Download the StudySync mobile app to your phone by visiting the App Store. In the App Store, type “StudySync” in the search box. The first result will be the StudySync app by BookheadEd. Download the app.

6 Next Step In the window “Access Key” will appear. Use the access key that appears on the screen of the CVS desktop or laptop computer. Afterward, you will be prompted to choose a 4-digit code - you might want to use your birthday

7 Now you can use your Study Sync Mobile App both online and offline.

8 Go to the App Store and download the free VMWare Horizon Client app.
Here is another option for logging into StudySync from an IPad or Mobile Device Go to the App Store and download the free VMWare Horizon Client app. Open the app after it has downloaded

9 Next Steps When prompted for the server, type in Log in with the same username and password you use when logging into district computers. Do not use a generic login or another person’s login. If prompted, the domain is Chippewa.

10 Almost Done… You will now see the same computer desktop you see when logged onto a district computer. Click the McGraw- Hill Study Sync icon to access the program, you will be logged in automatically. Be sure to go to Start  Log Off when you are done with the virtual machine session.
