 All-in-One guidance tool that will allow you to : › Research Post-Secondary Options – Research colleges and careers that are the best match for you. › Manage College Application Materials including transcripts, teacher recommendations and school forms. › College Visits – Find out which colleges are visiting our school. › Scholarships – All scholarships available through Garden Spot HS will be advertised on Naviance.

 Click on “Colleges” Tab › Research colleges, make a list of schools you are interested in, search specific colleges and APPLY! › SuperMatch College Search, College Serach, College Maps, Scholarships

 First Step:  Apply Online through individual college websites OR  The Common Application: › Sign up. Write down your User Name and Password › Return to Naviance and enter Common App information

 Transcript Requests › Turn in “Transcript Release Form” with Parent Signature. Come to guidance and add colleges to form as you apply to them. › Go to Naviance and click on “Colleges I am Applying To” › Click on “Add to this List” Add college that you applied to and request transcript. › LET MS. FELLENBAUM KNOW WHEN WE CAN SEND THE TRANSCRIPT! › Allow 5-7 School days for processing!

 Teacher Recommendations will be done through Naviance  You must ask the teacher in person before you make the request on Naviance! It’s rude not to!  Click on “Colleges” tab. Then click “Colleges I am Applying To”  Click “Add/Cancel” Request. Select teacher from drop down menu.  Allow 2-3 weeks for the teacher to write the recommendation.  Can add 1 Non-GS person to your Recommendations through Naviance

 You need to let us know in Naviance that you were accepted to College.  Go to “Colleges I’m Applying To” Click on the Pencil and update “Result” (Accepted, Denied, Waitlisted, etc).
