Introduction to Computers There are 2 types of personal computers (PC). They are called Laptop and Desktop. This is a Desktop Computer This is a Laptop

How to turn on the Computer If you have a laptop there is a on button that looks like this:. They come in many shapes and sizes. If you own a desktop the ON button looks like this:

Mouse You can use the mouse for clicking and scrolling down. When you are using the mouse, you are actually telling the CPU, the brain of the computer, what to do. This is a seldom and cool mouse This is a normal mouse

Keyboard You can type many things with the keyboard and you can do shortcuts. The keyboard has many keys with symbols on them like letters and numbers. This is an English keyboard

Shortcuts There are many different shortcuts you can use with the keyboard instead of the mouse. To save a document, you can press Control (the Strg key) and S on your keyboard. To copy, press Control (Strg) and C and to paste, press Control (strg) and V. To print, press Control and P. To undo a mistake, press Control Z.

Different Devices There are different types of devices. Input, Output and Storage devices. Input devices help putting information in the brain of the computer. Output devices will display the information given to the computer brain(CPU). Storage devices are there to store things on them.

Input devices These are all the parts of the computer that are input devices: -Keyboard -Mouse -Microphone

Output devices Listed below are the different computer parts that are output devices: -M-Monitor -S-Speakers -H-Headphone

Storage devices These are the parts of the computer that are storage devices: -Hard Drive -Floppy Disk -Compact Disk
