LO3 Checklist LO2 Assignment LO1 CLIENT PROPOSAL – prepared by the “In the News” production company  ‘In the News’ is an opportunity to get involved in the world of media and television. ‘In the News’ experts preview news broadcasts created by young people and arrange for the best to be shown on community television channels.  You must produce a news broadcast for the ‘In the News’ experts to preview. This will be a multimedia broadcast that features a headline story about youth achievement.  You will choose the target audience and a title for your broadcast. Within this broadcast there needs to be a range of media content to make it look and feel more professional. You will be required to produce a videoed weather forecast that will be shown during the news broadcast.  A range of youth achievements in the area will need to be highlighted, these could include community support, sport, local educational achievements or anything that requires merit. Task 2 (P, M, D) In order to stay legal and to be able to keep a track of all the files you will use throughout this project in terms of being legal and knowing which site they came from, you will need to create a table to make it easier for your marketing team to find the images and demonstrate understanding of copyright issues and what would need to be done to make the products fit for use in the public domain. You must identify each individual asset which is an issue and explain what would need to be done to comply with copyright. This table needs to keep track of any changes made to the images after being sourced. And needs to include images from Magazines, Internet and those you create yourself. 2 Produce an Assets Table for all the primary and secondary assets used throughout your project. Provide details of changes made to the materials, how and where it is used and details of permissions required for their use.

Evidence of working with the test buddy needs to be demonstrated at different stages of the project and work will need to be evaluated. Evaluation needs to include Product Designs and Prototype products. 3 Create an evaluation document for your test buddy to test your submitted work. Merit 3 Create an evaluation document that specifies improvements to content and quality. Distinction 3 Create an evaluation document that considers the appeal to the target audience.
