Introduction Assessment Objectives This unit is made up of six topics. Each topic is called an Assessment Objective (AO). 5 AO1: Design a Multimedia Website
Introduction AO1: Design a Multimedia Website This Assessment Objective assesses how well candidates can plan a website which fulfils the stated purpose and the needs of the target audience. 6 AO2: Create Multimedia Webpages
Introduction AO2: Create Multimedia Webpages In this Assessment Objective, you will learn how to produce a website of at least five pages. Highlights include: creating and using templates to create a website which will contain text, images, navigation and other elements choosing and using appropriate filenames for your work some candidates will use cascading style sheets to produce their website. © Harcourt Education OCR Nationals in ICT Teacher’s Resource; Unit 2

7 AO3: Create Functioning Hyperlinks
Introduction AO3: Create Functioning Hyperlinks In this Assessment Objective, you will create functioning hyperlinks to use on your website. 8 AO4: Create Interactive Elements
Introduction AO4: Create Interactive Elements In this Assessment Objective, you will consider different interactive elements and apply them to your website. 9 AO5: Create a User Form for Capturing User Feedback
Introduction AO5: Create a User Form for Capturing User Feedback For this Assessment Objective, you will create a user form to capture feedback from users of the website. This form may either be printed off and completed or completed and submitted online. Your work will be graded by your teachers and will be awarded a Pass, Merit or Distinction, based on how well you meet criteria set by OCR.
