Please take the forms and folder with you and complete the forms and return them to school as soon as possible.

Visiting campus  To ensure the safety of our students and staff, we are a closed campus. If you visit the campus at any time, please sign in through the office and receive a visitor pass. You will be required to show a picture ID each time you come on campus. Thank you for your understanding and assistance in keeping our children safe!

Times to know…  Front drive gates open for student drop off at 7:00am. No child should arrive on campus before 7:00am. Any child arriving on campus before 7:10am must report to the cafeteria.  Tardy bell rings and walk in gates are locked at 7:20am. Any student arriving on campus after 7:20am must be escorted in by a parent and signed in to receive a tardy slip in the office.  Lunch: 11:16-11:46  Special Area: 8:25-9:10  Dismissal: 1:55

Standards, curriculum, and assessments…  2 nd grade curriculum is based on Florida State Standards. Students will be assessed and grades recorded according to the standards. In the classroom, we will use the district adopted textbooks, as well as other resources, to learn the required content and skills. If you ever have a question about what your child is learning or being assessed on, please do not hesitate to contact me.  We will be using many cooperative learning strategies and structures within the classroom. Students will learn to work with others and be a part of a classroom community where engagement and learning are at an all time high.
