Reception 2015

Things we need House t-shirt and correct uniform by end of September please Waterproofs and wellies Contact books- please hand these in every morning- they are a point of contact between home and school Book bag and reading book everyday please Water bottles- your child needs a water bottle- transparent, named and with a sports cap. Water only please.

Our class Adults in the classroom- Miss Lake (teacher) and Mrs Fredericks (TA), Mrs Ball (TA on a Wednesday) We are happy to chat to parents- before and after school Behaviour management- children may be given the timer if their behaviour is inappropriate Class rules- please see sheet that will be sent home in journal Routine of the day- Two child initiated sessions a day- where the children ‘choose’ what they would like to do. RWI and literacy session. ‘Teacher directed’ sessions- where children are taught a new skill or consolidate their learning.

Our class Fruit groups- children are called in groups to have their snack and a drink Snack time in the afternoon- please could you send in… Sticker charts, star of the week and diary sent home Shows- at special times of the year Newsletters are sent home to explain what we are doing at school If you are late and the door is shut please enter via the office- please don’t knock on the door.
