Missing Work & Make-Ups Incomplete or Missing Work: Missing assignments receive partial credit when completed. Make-up Work when absent: Work will be sent home the day after the absence unless previously requested. Students ill for more than one day may request work to be left at the front desk.

Academic Grades A = 90% - 100% B = 80% - 89% C = 70% - 79% N = 69% & below Tests and projects will receive a percentage and a letter grade. Tests=40% Classwork=40% Homework=20% Writing grades will be determined by a rubric.

Effort Grades For Work/Study Skills and Citizenship O = Outstanding (Almost always does…) S = Satisfactory (Doing what you are supposed to do… most of the time) N = Needs to Improve (Is not doing…)

Supplies Plastic pencil box (name written on top with a Sharpie) with these items inside: *8 sharpened pencils *Crayola colored pencils (large box) *Highlighters-three colors *2 white polymer art erasers *Ear buds (to use with laptops) *Flash drive (inexpensive one) *Pencil sharpener (that holds the shavings)

Supplies Each student will also need to bring these items: *Two 2-subject spiral notebook with a pocket and tear out perforated pages (math interactive notebook) *Composition Book *Package of Bic Cristal ink pens (multi-colored for student grading) *Sharpies (2 fine point and 2 extra fine point) *Prang watercolors *Please send in $15 dollars (cash). Money will be used for plastic folders, art supplies, and a reminder binder.

Supplies Students may NOT bring the following: -refillable mechanical pencils (disposable is fine) -erasers or writing implements that double as toys (including “Squishies” and “Kooky Pens”) -calculators, iPads, iPods
