Apple Deployment Programs

Device Enrollment  We enroll all of the iPads  They are stored by Serial Number

Volume Purchase Program  VPP  Allows us to purchase Apps (Applications)  Generally there is a 50% discount for 20 or more apps

Apple ID for Students  U13 (Under 13)  We upload the student information  Then we “push” the Apple ID to the parents to complete

Setup the Apple ID  You will receive an from Apple  Complete the form  Verify  Send the iPad to the Computer Lab to enroll in the MDM

Enroll in the MDM  MDM – Mobile Device Management  Manages the iPads anytime/anyplace  Allows us to push out Apps and set other restrictions

Casper Suite  This is the MDM we use  Place an App on the iPad called Self Service  This app has all of the Apps  Students click on the Apps, enter their Apple ID and Password to download

Books  Books are downloaded to iBooks  Adobe Format
