Keys to Successful Notebooks The notebook should hold everything when possible. A separate pocket folder may be used to hold handouts that are multi paged. Cutting and gluing that day will be a key to organization. Use the front page as an organization tool Suggestion for Parents: Check notebook often at the beginning of the year. First two weeks I would check notebooks every day. Allows students to get the routine down. Check the teacher’s website often.
