2. ABOUT ME !  This is the beginning of my 2 nd year at B.L. Gray Junior High School and my 22 nd year teaching.  I have a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Mathematics. I am certified to teach 6 th -12 th grade.  I enjoy teaching my scholars math!

CLASSDOJO  I will be indicating how students are performing in class through an application called ClassDojo.  You and your child will be able to sign up to see what “Positive” or “Needs Work” indications I make.  Please make sure you ask me for your invitation form which includes your child’s code and yours!!

6. IMPORTANT WEBSITES Your child will be using the following 2 websites throughout the year:  7 th Grade GO Math Book: www.my.hrw.com  Think Through Math: www.texassuccess.org ***They can be used at any computer. They don’t work with a phone.

9. GRADING PERIODS (1 st Semester)  1 st Six Week (August 24 through October 2 nd )  2 nd Six Weeks (October 5 th through November 6 th )  3 rd Six Weeks (November 9 th through December 18 th )

10. SKYWARD CHECK YOUR CHILD’S GRADES  Scholars are able to check their grades online through the district’s webpage (SKYWARD). Parents have access as well.  Go to sharylandisd.org for more information.
