Tuesday Tutorial Binder Sr. Suha & Sr. Tabbasum

This binder will include: Homework folder Planner Reading Log Spelling list of the week Mail--keep at home papers Papers—sign & return Teacher's note- if any

Your Job as a Parent: Make sure your child returns the binder to school by Monday Planner is signed Reading log is completed in a timely manner (600 minutes per month) Mail-- needs to be removed from the folder Math HW completed and returned in the HW folder Spelling list is practiced (Spelling Test is every Friday) Sign and return papers----if any

Late Work Policy/Homework Policy: Homework is expected to be turned in on Monday.. If an assignment is late, the grading will be as follows. 1 day late = 90% 2 days late = 80% 3 days late = 70% If the student has not turned in an assignment after 3 days, the assignment will be a ZERO and the grade will not be changed. If a student looses his/her homework, a zero will be given. NO EXCEPTIONS. All assignments done at home are required to be done in the student’s handwriting. Someone may guide the child with the homework but it needs to be the student’s work. It is imperative that the student completes their own assignment for successful learning.

Attendance/Make-up Work All students are required to follow the school’s policy regarding attendance which is found in the Student Handbook. Students with excused absences will have the same amount of time to complete assignments as the students who are in class. Worksheets/missed work can be picked up when the student returns to school. If a student will be out for an extended period of time, you may request for work to be sent home. Students with unexcused absences will have their work counted as late.

Jazakullah for your kind support. Please make sure the Tuesday Tutorial Binder is completed and returned to class every Monday. Please help your child be responsible. Late or incomplete assignments will affect your child's grade. Together we can make a difference in a child's life Insha Allah.
