6-1 Discipline Expectations Kathleen Wilder – Math/SS Geoffrey Moore – Science/SS Anne Sawyer – L.A./SS

You must be in homeroom by 7:50 You are expected to be seated and working silently from 7:50-8:00. Homeroom assignments are NEVER optional-they are mandatory!

Planners You must have your own planner to leave the classroom for any reason If your planner has been lost or stolen, you MUST purchase a new one. NO Planner=NO leaving the classroom. I WILL NOT sign a piece of paper! This begins immediately. Do not ask to leave the room unless you have your planner with you!

Restroom Breaks You have 3 scheduled restroom breaks each day-this is enough! 1. 1 st period with your class 2. Lunch period with your class 3. Before connections with planner

Supplies You are required to have: 1. PENCILS or PENS (at least 2) 2. PAPER 3. BOOKS (including your AR book) 4. ASSIGNMENTS DUE (Homework) 5. PLANNER *Teachers will not provide you with supplies *This factors into your class participation grade *You will not be leaving class to go to your locker!

Locker Break You have 2 scheduled locker breaks a day-this is enough! You will not be permitted to visit your locker at any other times. Use your locker breaks wisely and prepare for each class! 1.In the morning Before Homeroom 2.In 4 th period Before Connections LOCK YOUR LOCKER SECURELY EACH TIME! You will lose your locker privileges if you leave your things in classrooms. DO NOT share your combination or locker with ANYone!

Transition Expectations Move directly to your next classroom. (absolutely no wandering towards restrooms, lockers, water fountains, other clusters, etc.) Line up silently and in a straight line inside the classroom - do not touch the walls/bulletin board or anything on my desk. Keep your hands and feet to yourself!

RULES We only have two rules: 1.) Do not disrupt your learning or the learning of those around you 2.) Be respectful to your teacher and your peers-no matter what!

Schoolwide Discipline Plan 1 st offense: Verbal Warning (sign & return yellow slip in 2 minutes) 2 nd offense: Isolated Seating in classroom/Silent Lunch (Complete and return orange form in 3 minutes) 3 rd offense: Time Out in another class, complete red behavior form (write 2 paragraphs)/Parent Phone Call - reoccuring behaviors will result in a Parent Conference, and/or detention 4 th offense: Office Referral

And… If you accumulate 5+ warning slips in 1 week you will serve silent lunch the entire next week and we will set up a conference with your parent/guardian. - possible office referral

Paw Bucks You must have a perfect week with no discipline slips to receive your 5 weekly PAW BUCKS. You also need to be prepared for class each day and model wonderful behavior. $1 PAW BUCKS will be given throughout the week to students exhibiting behavior that is above and beyond our normal expectations.
