2 Supply List Label each of your supplies with your name and the proper class Science- green comp book, black folder Social Studies- purple comp book Literature-yellow comp book, yellow folder Religion- 1 inch blue binder Math- red comp book, red folder Spanish- black comp book, white binder Grammar- purple folder

3 PROCEDURES Enter politely, prepare supplies, textbooks, notebooks, pencil, etc. Be seated Participate in class- take notes, answer questions, help with group work Clean-up area and supplies Wait for dismissal by teacher Turn in cell phone- turn it off as soon as you are on campus. I will lock it up and return in to you at end of day

4 EXPECTATIONS Respect yourself, others, and your surroundings
Raise your hand to talk Get permission to leave your seat Complete assignments during the given time No gum Show respect in church for the Blessed Sacrament

5 Timeout in another classroom
CONSEQUENCES Verbal re-direction Hole punch Timeout in another classroom Contact Parent Detention Parent Conference

6 PUNCH CARDS Punch cards are worn in lanyards at all times
4 categories- behavior, procedures, dress code, tardy Teachers can give punches at their discretion for violation of any area. Behavior violations include: talking, disrespect, and disrupting class Procedure violations include: going back to locker for supplies, not staying together when traveling, leaving trash, anything you KNOW you should be doing, etc.

7 PUNCH CARDS Dress code violations include: being out of dress code per the student handbook Tardy violations are when you are not in the classroom with your whole class and the door is closed when you walk in- being late to and from specials

8 Discipline If you get 5 punches in any area of your card in a quarter, you have consequences Behavior: after school detention and an to parent Procedure: sit out at lunch recess for 4 days Dress code- lose next free dress/spirit day Tardy: Sweep the café for 1 week If you lose your card, you have three days to find it or it is automatic detention

9 REWARDS CARD Kept in lanyard at all times
If you have good behavior for the week, every Friday you will get a punch on the rewards card Once you get 10 punches on the card, you can redeem it for a free dress or free ice cream Card is to be turned in to Mrs. Krakowski during recess, before or after school Must redeem your card on your own time, not during class Free dress or free ice cream ticket will be given to you within a couple of days

10 LANYARDS Items to be kept in lanyards at all times: Behavior card
Rewards card ID- when we get them 1 pencil and or pen- only in the designated area or they will rip If you lose or break your lanyard, it costs $10 to replace them

11 Changing Classes STAY ON THE SIDEWALKS!! It is a procedure, you can get a punch for being off the sidewalk Stay together as a class We don’t follow you to specials, it’s your responsibility to get there and stay on sidewalk If another teacher tells us they saw you off the sidewalk, you will get a procedures punch No talking when walking through the elementary!

12 CHANGING CLASSES We will dismiss you to your next class
Stay along the wall and not in the middle of the hallway Stay quiet!!

13 LOCKERS You have a locker schedule- we will go over it together
Keep locker clean Be aware of your personal space Do not get in other people’s lockers Go to lockers as soon as you arrive to school from 7:45-8:00 and use restroom

14 RESTROOMS Go as soon as you arrive to school
Can go to restroom from class if it’s an emergency- do not abuse it No restrooms in class after lunch and recess- the 1:20-2:05 class Use restrooms when we return from lunch from 1:05-1:20

15 UNIFORMS Look at student handbook Shirts tucked in Wear a belt
White, black, or navy socks that can be seen Nike socks have to have a white, black, or navy sign Can wear navy or Pius sweatshirts (no athletic sweatshirts) Be mindful of skirt lengths, 4 in, don’t roll up No non Pius stuff in class

16 UNIFORMS No hoodies that aren’t St. Pius!
Need to wear a coat when it’s cold If you are wearing a sweatshirt as a coat, it has to be Pius No hoodies that aren’t St. Pius!

17 FREE DRESS Nothing inappropriate Jeans, shorts, 4 in, skirts 4in
Can wear any top-no tank tops No sandals Must wear socks and shoes-shoes can be Toms, neon colors, etc

18 ELECTRONICS Turn in cell phones, or any electronics device at beginning of day. They will be locked up. Turn them off before you get on campus 1st offense- we take it and return at end of day and you get a procedures punch 2nd offense- We turn it in to office and parents have to pick it up

19 HOMEWORK HW will be assigned most days
HW is expected to be done and turned in on the assigned day No excuses for late or missed work Late work- 1st day late is 50% off, 2nd day late is a 0 Free HW passes may be given randomly by teacher discretion- good behavior, 100% on tests, no missing work, etc.

20 HOMEWORK Will grade work in class the next day- a peer grades it in colored pen and signs it I will try to give time in class every day to work on HW and ask questions

21 WHILE YOU WERE OUT It is YOUR responsibility to get HW on days you are missing, not mine ! You have one day for each day absent to make up your work Your homework is collected by a peer. It can be picked up the day you are absent at the end of the day or the next morning at the office. Late HW procedure is applied to this as well.

8:10-9:00- Science- Blum 9:00-9:50- Special (1st quarter PE) 9:50-10:40- Spanish- Johnson 10:40-11:30- Math/ Lit. 11:30-12:20- Social Studies- Roberson

23 SCHEDULE 12:20-1:20-Lunch/Recess 1:20-2:05- Math/Lit.
2:05-2:55- Religion-Fincher 2:55-3:00- Homeroom with Liechti Specials change every quarter

24 LOCKER SCHEDULE 7:45-8:00-get Science and Spanish
10:40- get Social Studies and Math or Reading 12:20- lunch, prayer in rooms, take books to locker, get lunch boxes 1:10-1:20- get Religion and Math or Reading
