Neurologist and Psychoanalyst  His theories on child sexuality, libido and the ego, among other topics, were some of the most influential academic concepts of the 20 th century.

Psychosexual Most of his contemporaries felt, like Breuer, that his emphasis on sexuality was either scandalous or overplayed.

Emotional/ Psychological  Sigmund Freud believed that conscious level of the mind was similar to the tip of a iceberg.  Which some of it could be seen but the other half couldn't. which was mysterious and was hidden.

Id, ego, and superego  Ego is different from Id as it extremely objective.  Operates according to the “reality principle” and deals with the demands of the environment and it regulates the flow of libido which keeps the id check. Which acts as a control center of the personality.
