Introduction to Language Arts Ms. Dyson

Objectives, Activities & Assessment Objectives: To familiarize students with expectations for class, introduce myself, DAH, journaling, labeling homework, and first journal entry. Activities: First journal entry & homework labeling Assessment: Completion of activities ed to me.

Language Arts Ms. Dyson Kennebec, SD Taught from Chamberlain Academy, 2006 CMS Graduate of SDSU, BHSU, secondary English Love horses and cats, and dogs are o.k. I may get upset, but that doesnt mean I wont listen to you. Youre actions have consequences, so think before speaking or acting.

Classroom Expectations RESPECT: Give it to get it! Cant stand a cheat, & wont tolerate a liar! Be responsible for your learning! Listening requires eye contact & closed mouths. If I am speaking, you are not! You are responsible for missed work-both in class and homework. Ask 2 classmates & then ask me. As issues arise, we will deal with them. If you are having trouble, you are to talk with me.

Dog Ate My Homework Three coupons per semester. May use on any non-major assignment. Must be filled out thoroughly & completely to be valid. I determine major assignments. No coupons used, add 1% to semester grade. No credit given for I or 2 coupons. Youll be given new DAH coupons 2nd semester.
